Déclaration de foi

EMAS Canada est un organisme de charité chrétien évangélique multiconfessionnel où les croyants catholiques, protestants et orthodoxes sont les bienvenus. Nous nous préoccupons plus de ce qui nous unit dans notre foi que de ce qui nous divise.

C’est dans cet esprit que nous avons choisi le Credo des Apôtres comme déclaration de foi pour notre organisation car il résume les fondements essentiels de la foi chrétienne de plusieurs traditions :

Credo des Apôtres

I believe in God, the Father almighty,
creator of heaven and earth.

I believe in Jesus Christ, God’s only Son, our Lord,
who was conceived by the Holy Spirit,
born of the Virgin Mary,
suffered under Pontius Pilate,
was crucified, died, and was buried;
He descended to the dead.
On the third day He rose again;
He ascended into heaven,
He is seated at the right hand of the Father,
and He will come again to judge the living and the dead.

I believe in the Holy Spirit,
the holy catholic church,
the communion of saints,
the forgiveness of sins,
the resurrection of the body,
and the life everlasting.

Note: The word “catholic” in the Apostles’ Creed conveys the universality
of Jesus’ church, not specifically the Roman Catholic Church.
