{"id":6206,"date":"2024-12-06T17:40:21","date_gmt":"2024-12-06T22:40:21","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/emascanada.onpressidium.com\/?page_id=6206"},"modified":"2025-04-08T18:38:06","modified_gmt":"2025-04-08T22:38:06","slug":"burkina-faso","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/emascanada.org\/fr\/where-we-serve\/burkina-faso\/","title":{"rendered":"Burkina Faso"},"content":{"rendered":"<h1>\n\t\tBurkina Faso\n\t<\/h1>\n<h2>\n\t\t\u00c0 propos\n\t<\/h2>\n\t<p class=\" translation-block\">En partenariat avec EMAS Canada, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.soeursdesaintecroix.org\/\" target=\"_blank\">les S\u0153urs de Sainte-Croix<\/a> pr\u00e9voient d\u2019am\u00e9liorer l\u2019acc\u00e8s \u00e0 une \u00e9ducation et \u00e0 une sant\u00e9 de qualit\u00e9 en mettant l\u2019accent sur l\u2019aide aux femmes et aux enfants vuln\u00e9rables du Burkina Faso.<\/p>\n<h2>\n\t\t&#8220;I am among you as one who serves&#8221;\n\t<\/h2>\n\t<p class=\" translation-block\">Marchant \u00e0 la suite de J\u00e9sus, les S\u0153urs de Sainte-Croix ont une communaut\u00e9 florissante de s\u0153urs burkinab\u00e9es qui, inspir\u00e9es par une passion pour une \u00e9ducation lib\u00e9ratrice, vivent dans les communaut\u00e9s locales o\u00f9 elles se mettent g\u00e9n\u00e9reusement au service des d\u00e9munis dans des domaines de mission li\u00e9s \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9ducation et \u00e0 la sant\u00e9.<\/p>\n<h2>\n\t\tT\u00c9MOIGNER DU CHRIST AU BURKINA FASO PAR UN APOSTOLAT DANS LE DOMAINE DE LA SANT\u00c9 ET DE LA M\u00c9DECINE\n\t<\/h2>\n<h2>\n\t\tFEMMES FORTES, COMMUNAUT\u00c9S FLORISSANTES\n\t<\/h2>\n\t<p>Avec une pr\u00e9sence dans la r\u00e9gion depuis 40 ans et au Burkina Faso depuis 2004, les S\u0153urs sont bien plac\u00e9es pour comprendre les besoins du peuple burkinab\u00e9 et y r\u00e9pondre.<\/p>\n<h2>\n\t\tDES SOLUTIONS DURABLES \u00c0 DES D\u00c9FIS QUOTIDIENS\n\t<\/h2>\n\t<p>Dans les zones rurales, les routes d\u2019acc\u00e8s sont impraticables pendant la saison des pluies et le transport se fait principalement \u00e0 pied, \u00e0 v\u00e9lo ou en mototaxi.<\/p>\n<p>Le taux de mortalit\u00e9 maternelle est estim\u00e9 \u00e0 320\/100 000 naissances vivantes, soit environ 30 fois plus \u00e9lev\u00e9 qu\u2019au Canada.<sup>1<\/sup><sup>1<\/sup><\/p>\n<p>Selon l\u2019UNICEF (2020), plus d\u2019un demi-million d\u2019enfants de moins de 5 ans au Burkina Faso souffrent de malnutrition aigu\u00eb.<sup>2<\/sup><sup>2<\/sup><\/p>\n<p>Apr\u00e8s consultation de la population locale, les besoins prioritaires sont l\u2019acc\u00e8s aux soins de sant\u00e9 pour les femmes enceintes et les jeunes enfants, et l\u2019\u00e9ducation pour les jeunes femmes qui aspirent \u00e0 un avenir meilleur.  En r\u00e9ponse \u00e0 ces besoins, nous nous associons \u00e0 la communaut\u00e9 pour apporter des solutions aux d\u00e9fis auxquels elle est confront\u00e9e.<\/p>\n<p>Notre premier projet avec EMAS Canada est de fournir des services de sant\u00e9 maternelle et infantile \u00e0 Songdin, un village au nord de Ouagadougou.<\/p>\n<p>Un terrain a \u00e9t\u00e9 achet\u00e9 \u00e0 cette fin et est ad\u00e9quat pour le d\u00e9veloppement d\u2019un h\u00f4pital rural offrant tous les services n\u00e9cessaires.<\/p>\n<p>Nous envisageons de d\u00e9velopper les services de soins de sant\u00e9 pour inclure tous les aspects des soins de sant\u00e9 primaires pour tous les \u00e2ges.
