In 2024 EMAS Canada and Gutu Mission Hospital will continue focus on Obstetric and Neonatal Emergency Care. Learners will be midwives, nurses, and senior diploma level nursing students. Tutors will be Gutu staff trained in 2023 and Zimbabwean physicians.

A second goal of the program at Gutu Mission Hospital is to improve infrastructure. This will be accomplished by refurbishing maternity ablutions unit, repainting maternity wards, installing water tanks, and upgrading plumbing to the maternity unit, including operating rooms. We are recruiting Artisans with relevant skills to support hospital maintenance staff for 2024.

Healthcare professionals skilled in obstetrics, ultrasonography, and pediatrics/neonatology can apply for the fall of 2025 mission.

Our fundraising activities includes a cycling event.
