EMAS CANADA’S RIDE FOR GUTU MISSION HOSPITAL
REGISTRATION IS NOW CLOSED TO CYCLISTS!
We are OPEN to sponsorships and donations!
We are back in the saddle, getting ready for another Ride for Gutu Mission Hospital, our purpose hasn’t changed. We want to make a positive impact in maternal and infant healthcare in the Gutu District of Zimbabwe.
A group of cyclists will ride over two days from Dundas to Port Dover, Ontario, Canada and back. Same route as last year.
When: September 6 & 7, 2024
Our goal is to raise money to support maternal and infant health programs at Gutu Mission Hospital. The focus of this year’s fundraising will be to get reliable running water to the maternity unit, and to further staff training.

WHY? We are riding and walking in support of our missionaries who are advocating for the underprivileged and displaced children in the war torn country of Myanmar by providing basic needs, such as food, shelter and education.
Registration is now open for the 2024 Ride or Walk for Myanmar this Fall.

75th ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION
EMAS Canada was established in 1948, when Toronto’s Hospital for Sick Children restructured and added a new building and acquired new equipment. A group of local doctors, dentists and pharmacists founded the Evangelical Medical Aid Society for the purpose of sending medical equipment from the old hospital to needy mission hospitals overseas. Hospitals in Africa and South America were the first beneficiaries.
For the last seven decades, Canadian healthcare professionals continue to serve every year. Our mission has grown beyond equipment distribution to long-term projects through short-term missions, and healthcare training.
We have much to celebrate!
